About JL Forke
J.L. Forke has spent nearly three decades building a real estate career that now anchors his role as a Founding Broker at The Agency Santa Fe. J.L. speaks Texan. He began his career in Dallas with the Ebby Halliday Companies and later joined Briggs Freeman Sotheby's International Realty. A consistent top producer, J.L. has earned numerous Awards of Excellence and has been recognized by D Magazine among the region's Best and Top Residential Real Estate Agents. A lifelong passion for architecture and design is central to J.L.'s practice. He has co-chaired Preservation Dallas home tours and represented architect-designed, published and AIA award-winning residences. His notable sales include the landmark Haggerty/Hanley Estate by acclaimed architect O'Neil Ford, which is widely considered one of Texas's most important midcentury modern homes. J.L. shares his appreciation for architecture with his husband, Mike Eustis, an architectural and real estate photographer. Following a successful chapter with Sotheby's International Realty, including helping build one of Santa Fe's leading real estate teams, J.L. joined his friend Beth Caldarello, Managing Partner, at The Agency Santa Fe. He was drawn to the company's innovative marketing, entrepreneurial culture, and track record representing architecturally significant, storied, and celebrity-owned properties. His work spans luxury residential sales, commercial real estate, development, and investment opportunities. His broad network in Dallas-Fort Worth, Santa Fe's largest feeder market, along with strong relationships throughout the luxury real estate community and an appreciation for New Mexico's distinctive architecture, makes him a trusted adviser to clients in Santa Fe and beyond. For many years, J.L. dreamed of making Santa Fe his home. As a Stage IV cancer survivor, he understands that tomorrow is never guaranteed and chose to pursue that dream without waiting another day. That experience has long shaped his volunteer work with cancer and global healthcare organizations, homeless shelters and food banks. J.L. is now beginning his first term on the Board of Directors of Kitchen Angels, which provides free, nutritious meals to homebound neighbors facing life-challenging conditions. His service reflects a deeply personal commitment to nourishment, compassion and meaningful care for his Northern New Mexico neighbors.
