About Karen Lorbecki
Karen Lorbecki knows North Idaho as both a Realtor and someone who has called it home for most of her life. A local Realtor since 2014, she brings more than a decade of experience, deep knowledge of the area, and a straightforward, practical approach to helping clients buy and sell real estate. She knows that a home is a major financial decision-but also that where you live has a tremendous impact on how you live. Karen's connection to North Idaho began even before her family moved here when she was in fifth grade. Childhood visits to her grandparents meant ice skating and fishing on Avondale Lake, swimming at Hayden Lake, playing in the snow, and riding around the golf course with her grandpa. Those early memories grew into a lifelong connection to the area and an understanding of what makes its individual communities and neighborhoods so different. Karen combines her real estate experience with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Lewis-Clark State College and extensive real estate-specific training. Over the years, she has helped buyers and sellers navigate everything from first homes and cross-country relocations to major life transitions and moves into the next chapter. Her approach is straightforward: listen carefully, give honest advice, communicate clearly, and help clients make smart decisions with their money. Karen believes good real estate representation isn't about pushing someone toward a transaction. It's about understanding what they actually need, protecting their interests, and helping them make a decision they'll still feel good about years later. Having spent most of her life in North Idaho, Karen also brings something that can't be learned from market statistics alone: a genuine understanding of the communities, neighborhoods and lifestyle that make this part of Idaho unique. She serves clients throughout Coeur d'Alene, Hayden, Post Falls and the surrounding North Idaho communities, helping both longtime locals and those considering a move to the area. When she's not working, Karen is usually enjoying North Idaho herself-boating, hiking, spending time with family, trying a local restaurant or coffee shop, or attending events around downtown Coeur d'Alene. She also loves cooking, reading, Pilates and group fitness. For Karen, real estate is ultimately about helping people make good decisions during some of life's biggest transitions-with experience, common sense, and someone in their corner who will tell them the truth.
