About Margaret Besheer
Margaret Besheer is a fourth-generation Brooklynite. As the daughter of longtime brownstone owners, she grew up immersed in conversations about property values, tenant relations, and neighborhood shifts, learning the nuances of New York City real estate around the family dinner table. Today, she brings that lifelong, hands-on education to her work as a salesperson, property owner and manager. Before transitioning into real estate, Margaret spent 30 years as an international journalist, reporting from more than 20 countries - including during the height of the war in Iraq - and covered the work of the United Nations for many years. She channels the persistence, attention to detail and strong work ethic she developed in the field into helping her clients lease, buy or sell their ideal home on the best terms. Having frequently relocated as a correspondent, Margaret is very mindful of the challenges of moving, whether across boroughs or borders. She has a native New Yorker's in- depth knowledge of the city's many neighborhoods, and loves to continue to explore all that it has to offer.
