About Monique Ellis-Westfield
My unique understanding of cities and communities comes partly from my experience growing up in the multicultural city of Los Angeles, California and being a homeowner and Realtor in several major cities during the almost two decades of my first husband's career playing in the NBA. My introduction to the city of Las Vegas was during college, when I attended UNLV. I loved the city so much that I kept a home in Las Vegas and visited often throughout my career. I've watched the valley grow from a small town with a population of approximately 200,000 people to a major metropolitan city serving millions. I've been a licensed Realtor since 1988. During the early years of my career I was licensed in Washington and California. Later, I received my Broker Sales License in Nevada. My clientele has included athletes, entertainers and high profile business professionals. My clients often have particular relocation needs. I've assisted with a broad range of services, including overseeing clients' remodels, their design processes, managing their new homes, and referring services when needed. I now focus my business solely in the greater Las Vegas area and Loreto, Mexico where I'm a homeowner. I have handled individual transactions worth tens of millions of dollars and have built an extensive national network. I've worked and traveled all over the country and abroad. I have a broad perspective of the real estate market. In today's economy, having a seasoned Realtor is an asset. My greatest attribute is my ability to connect clients with their needs, negotiate and problem solve throughout complex transactions. My professionalism, integrity and knowledge sets me apart. My work outside of real estate is dedicated to philanthropic organizations. I am the Founder and Director of Toni's House, and I support the Global Endowment for Sight, a non-profit organization founded and operated for many years by my husband, Dr. Kenneth Westfield.
