About Quetzal Grimm

In Silicon Valley - one of the nation's most competitive real estate markets - few leaders stand out the way Quetzal Grimm does. As VP, Managing Director of The Agency's Los Altos & Woodside offices, Quetzal has built and empowered an incredible team of top-producing agents and dedicated colleagues who together continue to redefine success in the Bay Area. With nearly two decades of experience, Quetzal's leadership goes far beyond sales. He is a strategic builder of foundations-grounded in collaboration, guiding agents, shaping their growth, and creating an environment where they can thrive in one of the toughest markets in the country. For Quetzal, leadership is about investing in people: helping agents grow from one level of success to the next, setting higher benchmarks, and celebrating each milestone along the way. He works closely with his team members, supporting their professional growth and championing their ambitions as they rise to new levels of success. It's about where leadership meets results. Under his direction, The Agency has quickly become a major force in Northern California, recently earning a place on the Silicon Valley Business Journal's Top 10 Residential Real Estate Firms list for 2025, climbing two spots from the prior year. Previously, Quetzal oversaw more than $4 billion in annual sales volume while managing 150+ agents at Compass, and held key leadership roles at Alain Pinel Realtors. A Bay Area native and longtime Redwood City resident, he combines deep local expertise with a global perspective shaped by The Agency's international network of 142 offices across 13 countries. Growing up in the Bay Area, Quetzal is deeply committed to fostering community and giving his time to various organizations. While his kids were young he was involved with St Pius School in Redwood City as a coach for baseball and basketball and an active member of the church's men's club. As a member of the Los Altos Village Association's board (LAVA), Quetzal is involved with the continued growth of downtown Los Altos as a business hub, place for neighbors and visitors to gather and live and a place for kids to safely meet their friends. Through his work he also supports the Mountain View Art & Wine Festival, the San Carlos Art & Wine Festival and the Woodside Day of the Horse (WHOA). He also supports organizations that are deeply important to his community, such as Dreams33 and Harper's Playground. Quetzal holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from UC Santa Cruz. For Quetzal, leadership is about more than results - it's about empowering people, investing in their growth, and laying the groundwork for extraordinary achievements in Silicon Valley real estate.
