For the first 9 years I was not able to work due to the restrictions on my visa but fully immersed myself into community life principally through volunteering in our 3 children's' different schools. As soon as we obtained our Green cards in 2005, I went back to school myself to get my Michigan Realtors license and haven't looked back!
